Waltz on the Square, Oxford

After over four years in business, Chef Walt Norwood and his wife Carrie have closed their Collierville, Tennessee, restaurant, Washington Street Bistro, to move closer to friends and family in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Norwoods are currently in the process of opening Waltz on the Square in Oxford. The restaurant will be in the space once occupied by Off Square Books and, most recently, by Madre, a Mexican restaurant.

At Washington Street, Chef Norwood offered up dishes like tandoori crawfish pasta and Earnest Sea Bass. (How can you not love that name?) Chef Norwood promises a similarly eclectic menu at their new place.

Waltz on the Square should be open in early- to mid-August.
