Chef Andrew Adams on WREG’s Live at Nine
Our favorite young chef, Andrew Adams, of Brushmark at Memphis Brooks Museum of Art appeared on WREG‘s Live at Nine on Friday, March 16. Chef made Brushmark’s longtime favorite, peanut soup.
Peanut soup is especially appropriate at Brooks now, given the opening of Power Dressing: Men’s Fashion and Prestige in Africa. Brushmark will celebrate the exhibit with an African-inspired dinner during the First Wednesday festivities on April 4.
The soup recipe isn’t on the WREG site yet. If they don’t put it up soon, I’ll ask if we can put it up. In the meantime watch the demo. The soup is easy. You can easily jump to the 15:30 mark of the show with just a bit of fiddling around. It’s worth watching for the tablecloth alone.
