Mama Squirrel and I recently joined Slow Food USA. We already have plans to participate in The New Q cosponsored by Slow Food Atlanta and Heritage Foods USA. We had even given some thought to starting a convivium in Memphis to spread the Slow Food message here.
When we got our first e-newsletter from Slow Food USA, we were very pleased to see that the newest convivium is right here in Memphis. Events are still in the planning stage but should begin around May 5 when the downtown farmers market opens.
